About this project

Developed a rapid prototype exploring the use of augmented reality to enhance restaurant menus, aiming to improve how users understand and visualise dishes.

Built using Unity and Vuforia, the application uses image targets and plane detection to position 3D representations of food in real space. Designed a flexible, component-based UI system to support reuse across different venues, with dynamic content loading and scalable layouts optimised for mobile devices.

This project provided hands-on experience with AR development and adaptive UI design, while highlighting potential for future expansion into a full-featured ordering system.
